Addition to bread bag beneficial

Purchased bread bag for homemade bread that normally store in plastic bag on the counter. After the first load being very crusty on outside and somewhat soft on inside after 2, did some research. Apparently would be better if waxed inside. Will try using beeswax wrap inside bread bag when use again.
